The Virtual Community
The author suggest that the computer-based communication has introduced a new form of human social life call 'virtual communities', a group of the people link with each other because they have the same topic and their participation in computer networks.
People in virtual communities use words on screens to exchange their own opinion, ideas and argue, engage in different issues. Also they can share their own experience, share their emotion, find friends, create a forum to communicate. People in virtual communities just doing what the normal people do in real life but they leave their body behind.
Actually, i think the virtual community can help kind of the person increase their confident, communication skill and problem solving skill. There are some types of person, which are talkative, enthusiasm, sociable, but some are speechless, embarrass to talk with strangers, virtual community is a way to let them express their feeling and make some new friends on the internet.

The change of communication technology
Communication is a process that to increase the relationship of friendship and know about each other. There are the sender and receiver during the process, sender is to deciding the message and encoding the intended message, receiver is to perceiving the information, decoding and interpreting the message.
For the first communication technology is cave paintings which discovered in France, 30000 BC. There was a huge improvement in 105 AD, Tsai Lun of China who developed the paper, it can let people write on it. Newspaper and telephone were develop in 1650 and 1876, first of the television came out in 1927.
Internet came out from USA in 1994 and blogging is 1999. Currently, we are using the facebook, twitter, youtube, all of them are common from 2004 until now.
Communication technology are keeping improve and they are more convenience for us, we can chat to each other in anytime, whatever different culture, country. But there are few of the weakness of the new communication technology, we know what the others want to talk about but we don't know what are their exactly feeling, also we will misunderstand the others word.
For myself, face to face communication is the method that i like the most used to, it is the comfortable method to communicate to each other, we can know others feeling, emotion, and what they actually want to explain.
