CATFISH
Catfish is a TV Show is an American reality-based documentary television series airing on MTV about the truths and lies of online dating. The series is based on the 2010 film Catfish and is co-hosted by Nev Schulman and Max Joseph. It premiered on November 12, 2012. The fifth season premiered on February 24, 2016.
On the internet, catfish is a person who creates fake personal profiles on the social media sites using someone else's pictures and fake biographical information to pretend to be someone other than themselves.
Catfish is not just a film, it is the reality in our daily life. For the now days communication technology, we can easily to communicate with the others that we don't know, like their gender, hobbies, nationality, etc. It is a little bit dangerous for people who meet the others on the social media, we don't how is the personality of others, not every people like the actors Nev, and he is using his emotional experience with Angela. (Nev is the actor of catfish and Angela is the woman who create the identities)

7.9 New Zealand Earthquake
Telegraph reported that there was a 7.9 magnitude earthquake killed two people and caused massive infrastructure damage in New Zealand on 13 November 2016. Soon after the earthquake, tsunami warning sirens were activated, with police and emergency workers going door to door to evacuate seaside properties.
The New Zealand Herald reported that one of the confirmed deaths was caused by a heart attack and that the other had taken place on a historic homestead near the beach town of Kaikoura.
The news showed that how the earthquake affect New Zealand environment, how the earthquake devastation aftershocks and the tsunamis quickly followed. Social media can help the people who live in New Zealand or not live in there to receive the information, breaking news, such as Facebook, Twitter, they can separate the information very quickly to inform the others.

The author suggest that the computer-based communication has introduced a new form of human social life call 'virtual communities', a group of the people link with each other because they have the same topic and their participation in computer networks.
People in virtual communities use words on screens to exchange their own opinion, ideas and argue, engage in different issues. Also they can share their own experience, share their emotion, find friends, create a forum to communicate. People in virtual communities just doing what the normal people do in real life but they leave their body behind.
Actually, i think the virtual community can help kind of the person increase their confident, communication skill and problem solving skill. There are some types of person, which are talkative, enthusiasm, sociable, but some are speechless, embarrass to talk with strangers, virtual community is a way to let them express their feeling and make some new friends on the internet.
